Worse Week…? March 12, 2008

The week hardly began and it feels like a looong week already

Work was really overwhelming to say the least. The hospital has just came up tops in the patient satisfaction survey conducted by MOH again (4 times in a row)! My boss decided to ‘volunteer’ me for an assignment to produce a video for the celebratory party this friday. I didn’t mind the challenge at first but I realised the stoopid video took up more time than I wanted. it was such a waste of time spending furtile effort on it for 1 and a half day! I have more important things to do! And I hate to leave things incomplete but the requirements (or should i say demands) for the video was getting more and more taxing (the organising commitee wanted this and that like as if I was a video editing guru)

As of now, the video is still incomplete and tomorrow (and the day after), the entire afternoon is gone because I am conducting a supermarket tour for a group of teachers.

And on a personal note, some of my close frenz are absolutely miffed at me (I am really sorry you feel this way, I had no intentions of hurting and disapppointing you really… hope we can talk soon).

Retropectives – Updated! January 4, 2008

Christmas has come and gone so fast, so quickly…and soon it will be a new year. Time for reflection and resolutions. Yes, resolutions are usually never successfully fulfilled. But that doesn’t mean we should stop trying right? I mean, who doesn’t want their life to be better?

Anyways, before I go on rambling about my resolutions for the new year, let me look back and recap the highs and lows of my 2008.

Farewell dear frenz… March 1, 2007

ah…it started with Amanda and Fangyi i guess…they came and they went…like the wind…

Then Jason and Gillian…

Then there was the mass exodus, ‘Jie’, ‘Yellow’ and Lam @T1, Alsen and ‘Mummy’ (and yanyi, but I din see her!) @T2…wah…then I realised that I would realli miss all of them…
Things will definitely be different without them around, those days in Adelaide, the dinners together, the walks, the talks, etc
sigh…those days are far gone and I’ve got to move forward. but thatz another story…

So after I realised that I missed them terribly, I took the opportunity to meet up with Shan as much as I could as she too was leaving soon after. Thank God for the opportunity we had, Friday was really a good time of fellowship. We hardly talked since we came back from Adelaide last Dec and it was great to spend time chatting over drinks.

I tried to do the same for my ‘niece’ but unfortunately, miss heah was pretty busy…she was fully booked for the whole week…pity…was looking forward to the singing!

But I must say I dun regret much as I did meet with them as much as I could…so thank God for those wonderful opportunities that we did meet up! I’ll miss those shopping, eating, singing and tennis sessions!

I must say…this was one of my best holidays ever! Thanks guys (& gals)!
